I have plenty of pics of this old Safeway, but it appears its days may be numbered.
The Salvation Army, which has occupied it for 25 years, has acquired the closed Dillon's Grocery, down the street, (which operated 1978-2005 or so.) The plan is to move the gym and community center to the old grocery store, and build a fine new chapel here.
